Yves Heck

Yves Heck (* 1971 in Namur , Belgium) is a French theater and film actor.

Yves Heck grew up in Namur. From 1986 to 1990 he took courses at the Académie d′art dramatique there. After his stage debut in 1990 at the Center théâtral de Namur in an adaptation of Federico García Lorca's cycle of poems Romancero gitano , he played Troilus in Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida at the Espace Pierre Cardin Theater in Paris . From 1991 to 1992 he took acting lessons at the Théâtre-École du Passage, directed by Niels Arestrup . In 1998 he went to the Center Choréographique de Montpellier, where he received dance lessons from the choreographer and dance teacher Elsa Wolliaston .

Since 2005 he first played small roles in film and on French television. As his first major film role, he played Cole Porter in Woody Allen's film Midnight in Paris .
