Yvonne Hak (born June 30, 1986 in Alkmaar ) is a Dutch middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Hak has been the Dutch champion in the 800 meter run six times, three times in the hall and once in the cross country run on the short distance. She won her first national championship title in 2006 over 800 meters. In 2008 she broke the two-minute mark over the two rounds of the stadium for the first time in Athens with a time of 1:59:98 min.

Hak gained first experience in international championships at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Turin in 2009 , where she was eliminated in the semi-finals. In 2010 she attracted attention when she won the 800 meter race at the Ostrava Golden Spike athletics meeting . She celebrated her greatest international success to date around two months later at the European Championships in Barcelona . In a personal best of 1: 58.85 min she surprisingly won the silver medal behind Russian Marija Savinova .

Yvonne Hak is 1.77 m tall and has a competition weight of 57 kg. She starts for the AV Hera and is trained by Honoré Hoedt and Peter Winkel. Hak is studying medicine at the University of Amsterdam .
