Marija Sergejewna Sawinowa ( Russian Мария Сергеевна Савинова , English transcription Mariya Savinova ; born August 13, 1985 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter course .

Life

In 2009 Sawinowa won the gold medal at the European Indoor Championships in Turin and was fifth at the World Championships in Berlin .
