Barbara Wieck
Barbara Wieck (born February 26, 1951 in Koserow ) is a German athlete and Olympic participant who - starting for the GDR - was a successful 800-meter runner in the 1960s .
Her greatest success is the victory at the European Indoor Games in 1969.
On October 4, 1969 she was involved in a world record for the GDR national relay team in the 4 × 800 meter run in Cottbus (8: 33.0 min: Gertrud Schmidt , Gunhild Hoffmeister , Waltraud Pöhland , Barbara Wieck).
