Patricia Djaté-Taillard

Patricia Djaté-Taillard (born Djaté ; born January 3, 1971 in Paris ) is a former French middle-distance runner .

Life

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994 she was seventh and at the 1995 World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg fourth over 800 m . Over the same distance, she won gold at the 1996 European Indoor Championships in Stockholm and was sixth at the Olympic Games in Atlanta .

In 1997 she won bronze over 1500 m at the World Indoor Championships in Paris and reached the semifinals over the same distance at the World Championships in Athens . At the European Championships in Budapest in 1998, she was eliminated both over 800 m and over 1500 m in the preliminary run. In 2000 she was fifth over 1500 m at the European Indoor Championships in Gent .

In 1994 and 1999 she became French champion over 800 m. In the hall she won five national titles over 800 m (1994-1997, 1999) and once over 1500 m (2000).
