Natallja Duchnowa

Natallja Duchnowa ( Belarusian Наталля Духнова , Eng. Transcription Natallia Dukhnova, also Russian Наталья Духнова - Natalya Duchnowa - Natalya Dukhnova * 16th July 1966 in Mo'ynoq , Uzbek SSR ) is a former Belarusian middle distance runner , referring to the 800-meter distance had specialized.

At the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart, she was eliminated in the preliminary run. In 1994 she won gold at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Paris and silver at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki , and in 1995 she reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Gothenburg .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, she was seventh over 800 m and came over 1500 m to the semi-finals. In 1997 she won silver at the World Indoor Championships in Paris and was eliminated in the semi-finals of the World Championships in Athens . At the European Championships in Budapest in 1998 she was seventh, at the 1999 World Championships in Seville eighth. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and at the World Championships in Edmonton , she did not get beyond the run.

She was the Belarusian champion in the 800 m five times (1992, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2003) and twice in the 1500 m (1996, 1999).
