Maryna Aljaksandrauna Arsamassawa , b. Katowitsch ( Belarusian Марына Аляксандраўна Арзамасава (Катовіч) , Eng. Transcription Maryna Arzamasava (Katovich) * 17th December 1987 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian middle distance runner , referring to the 800-meter distance specializes.

Athletic career

At the 2011 World Championships in Daegu , she reached the semifinals.

In 2012 she won bronze at the European Championships in Helsinki and was eliminated in the preliminary stages at the Olympic Games in London .

In 2013 she won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg and reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Moscow .

In 2014 she won bronze at the World Indoor Championships in Sopot , won the European Championships in Zurich and came third in the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .

Her greatest success so far is her victory at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing .

After a positive doping test , Arsamassawa was temporarily suspended in 2019.
