José Carlos Bernardo , called Zé Carlos , (born April 28, 1945 in Juiz de Fora , Minas Gerais ; † June 12, 2018 in Belo Horizonte , Minas Gerais) was a Brazilian football player . He mainly played for the Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte. He is said to have played 633 games and scored 87 goals. Zé Carlos won various national and international championships with this club. Zé Carlos was part of the team that in the final of World Cup 1976 the Bayern Munich defeated.
