ZSD was a punk band from Munich that was founded in 1980. The abbreviation ILD stands for "Determined degeneration", but also as a condescending nod to the Civil Security Service ( " Black Sheriff was to understand") with the same symbol, which is currently the band's formation by numerous acts of violence in the Munich subway its particularly dubious reputation.

history

The band was founded in 1978 by Wix (vocals, guitar), Ziggy (bass) and Sepp Stark (drums; † February 5, 2008). One year after the founding, they came to the Munich Punksampler Munich - tire change made easy , on which well-known punk bands such as Marionetz and FSK were represented. After two LPs and some line-up changes, the band broke up in 1987. Ziggy and Roman then played at Lustfinger for a while . As part of the Punk in Munich project, the band performed again in April 2006 with Tom “Foug” Fock from Lustfinger as a singer.

The band also wrote songs about the political action group Freizeit 81 , which, like ZSD, came from the Munich scene. In 1997 a sampler on early Munich punk music was published under the title Freizeit '81. EP's from Munich. The mother of all samplers! .
