The Río Zadorra is a 78 km long river in the province of Álava in the Spanish Basque Country . It also crosses the northwest of the Burgalesian exclave Condado de Treviño .
course
The Río Zadorra springs from two source rivers in the hamlet Munain near the small town of Agurain / Salvatierra . It flows predominantly in western and southwestern directions and flows into the Ebro about 5 km southeast of the city of Miranda de Ebro .
Reservoirs
The two reservoirs, Ullíbarri-Gamboa and Urrúnaga, located directly behind one another, store up to 220 cubic hectometers of river water and represent the main water supply for the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the greater Bilbao area .

Attractions
In the municipality of Iruña de Oca are the ruins of the Roman city of Veleia . The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz has a lot to offer in terms of culture (cathedral, squares, museums). The towns of Agurain , Armiñon and La Puebla de Arganzón are also pretty pretty . Several historic stone bridges span the river.
