Zang Yize (born September 8, 1999 in Harbin ) is a Chinese short tracker .

Career

Yize first appeared internationally in February 2015 at the Junior World Championships in Osaka . There she won the silver medal over 1500 m. She made her debut in the Short Track World Cup at the beginning of the 2015/16 season in Montreal , finishing 18th and sixth over 1000 m. In the further course of the season she finished in the top ten four times in the individual World Cup and reached eighth place in the overall World Cup over 1000 m at the end of the season. In addition, she was Toronto and Nagoya both second with the season. At the Junior World Championships in Sofia in 2016 , she won the bronze medal in the 500 m and the 1500 m superfinal and the gold medal with the relay. In February 2016 she won the gold medal over 500 m at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer . At the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty , she won the silver medal with the relay and the gold medal over 500 m. In February 2017, she won the silver medal with the relay and the gold medal over 500 m at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo . At the World Championships in Rotterdam the following month, she also won the gold medal with the relay. In October 2017, she won the World Cup in Dordrecht with the relay. At the 2019 World Championships in Sofia he finished eighth in the all-around competition.
