The United Himmelskrone colliery on the border between Hattingen- Niederbonsfeld and Essen- Byfang is a former hard coal mine . The colliery was also known under the name Zeche Vereinigte Himmelscrone , Zeche Vereinigte Himmelscroner Erbstollen , Zeche Vereinigte Himmelskroner Erbstollen or Zeche Vereinigte Himmelskrone & Erbstollen and arose from the consolidation of several independent mines.

Mining history

In 1854 the collieries Himmelscrone and Siegeswagen consolidated with the muted Himmelskroner Erbstollen. During the consolidation, the rights entitled comprised two pit fields with 13 seams . Dismantling began in the second half of the same year . On December 11, 1855, the right to inherit a tunnel was granted . In 1856, the tunnel has been in operation over the studs should the seams of coal mine loyalty friendship solved are. At that time the mine belonged to the Essen Mining Authority. In 1864 the United Himmelskrone colliery was merged with the Victoria colliery .

Crown of Heaven

Little is reported about the Himmelscrone colliery in Hattingen Niederbonsfeld. On May 3rd, 1846, a length field was awarded. The mine was put into operation in September 1847. In the same year a tunnel was set up and cross-cut. The tunnel mouth hole was located west of Balkhausen am Deilbach. In 1854 it was consolidated into the United Himmelskrone colliery.

Victory car

Very little is reported about the Siegeswagen colliery in Essen-Kupferdreh. A length field was awarded on February 15, 1830. The Längenfeld was located between today's coal road and Möllershus. It is not known whether the mine was in operation. In 1854 it was consolidated into the United Himmelskrone colliery.
