history

The beginnings

On April 3 and July 26, 1827, the Plato, Tulipan and New Tulipan collieries consolidated into the United Tulipan colliery. This year the August, Georg and Doris shafts were in operation. The mine was measured in the same year . In 1830 the shafts George, Emanuel and August were encouraging . The shafts Doris and August were equipped with a göpel . In August 1832 the drive of the August shaft was converted from a Göpel drive to a steam reel . In 1835 the Emanuel mine was in operation. In 1838 the Amalie shaft was sunk . In 1840, test shafts 1, 2 and 3 were in operation. In 1845 the Elise shaft was in operation. Around the year 1847 the mine was by the Bommer bankers Erbstollen solved . In the years 1854, 1858 and 1861 the mine was demonstrably in operation.

The last few years

In 1862 the United Tulipan colliery consolidated below the bottom of the St. Johannes Erbstollen to form the Vereinigte Bommerbänker Tiefbau colliery . Above the bottom of the Erbstollen, the mine remained independent. In 1870, the mine water from the colliery was diverted to the St. Johannes Erbstollen. The reason for this measure was the collapse of the Bommerbänker Erbstollen. In 1879 the Heinrich shaft was in operation, the shaft had a depth of 120 meters. In 1880 the United Tulipan colliery was closed. In June 1924 the mine was put back into operation. Operation of the mine was suspended on October 18 , the reason for this measure being the lack of sales of the coal mined. In the following year the United Tulipan colliery was shut down again. In 1937 the coal mine of the United Gideon was closed.

Promotion and workforce

The first production figures come from the year 1830, around 3200 tons of hard coal were produced . In 1835 3341 tons of hard coal were mined. In the following year, 14,444¾ Prussian tons of hard coal were mined. In 1840 the production sank to 12,905¼ Prussian tons of hard coal. In 1842, 12,560 Prussian tons of hard coal were mined. The first workforce is known for the year 1845, there were 18 miners working on the mine, the production in that year was 3007 tons. In 1855, 30,511 Prussian tons of hard coal were mined by 26 employees. In 1865, 7536 tons of hard coal were mined. In 1867 the production sank to 4561 tons of hard coal. In 1869 around 7,000 tons of hard coal were mined. In 1870 6,368 tons of hard coal were mined. In 1872, 33 miners extracted 8,692 tons of hard coal. In 1875, 21 miners extracted 4,712 tons of hard coal. In 1878 the workforce sank to twelve, the production amounted to 1677 tons of hard coal. The last workforce and funding figures are known from 1924, eight employees mined 2250 tons of hard coal.
