The Journal of European Consumer and Market Law (EuCML) is a legal journal . It was founded in 2011 as a magazine for European corporate and consumer law (euvr) and was published under this name from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, the magazine was changed from a German-English publication to a purely English-language one. It has been operating under its current title since issue 1/2015 and is published jointly by the publishers CH Beck , Nomos and Wolters Kluwer .
The magazine focuses on European consumer law , which is examined from both the company's and the consumer's perspective. The range of topics includes a. Consumer protection, general terms and conditions law, contract law, competition law, antitrust law, travel law, but also increasingly topics from the regulation of the digital economy / platform economy. The articles in the journal are subject to a peer review process. In addition to articles ("peer-reviewed articles"), there is a section with "Comment & Analysis" and "Country Reports", in which current topics of consumer and market law are examined from the perspective of various EU member states.
The journal is published by the Association of European Consumer Law. It was published in four issues a year from 2012 to 2014, and now in six issues a year. From December 2013, all issues of the journal from the first issue onwards will be available in full text in the database of CH Beck and in the international database of Kluwer Law International. The journal has an advisory board with renowned experts in the field of consumer law.
