The journal for literary studies and linguistics , LiLi for short , was founded in 1970 by Helmut Kreuzer , Rul Gunzenhäuser , Wolfgang Haubrichs and Wolfgang Klein as a quarterly, interdisciplinary philological journal with the programmatic claim of problem-oriented method reflection, testing and discussion that was required Forum to offer.
It was first published by Athenäum Verlag , Frankfurt , later by Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht , Göttingen , and is now published by J. B. Metzler , Stuttgart . Over the years it has developed into a renowned specialist journal that is published today at the University of Siegen .
