The zfv - magazine for geodesy , geoinformation and land management (formerly: magazine for surveying ) is a technical and scientific journal that has been published by the German Association for Surveying e. V. (DVW) - Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management .

Frequency of publication - target direction

The zfv is published every two months and informs its readers about new developments in the areas of adjustment calculation and valuation , calculation methods, land order , earth measurements , geographic information systems , land registers , basic and related sciences, engineering geodesy and special areas of surveying, cartography , land development , land surveying , real estate cadastre , management , Navigation , organization and law, photogrammetry and remote sensing , town planning and regional planning , statistics , as well as positioning procedures .

The zfv also provides information on national and international conferences and specialist events as well as trade fairs and publishes information from teaching and research institutions as well as from administration and business. Book reviews on current new publications from the entire subject area round off the spectrum.

With the zfv, the dvw news is published , which mainly reports on the work of the association.
