The INTERGEO - trade fair and conference for geodesy, geoinformation and land management (INTERGEO for short) takes place every year at different exhibition locations in Germany. It is the most important international trade fair with a conference for geodesists , geoinformatics , cartographers , authorities and companies in this field of activity.

history

The DVW - Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management eV organizes this event. Since 1995 it has been held under the protected brand name INTERGEO, until 1994 the name Deutscher Geodätentag was in use. The prehistory begins in 1872 with the 1st general meeting of the German Geometer Association . The Intergeo East is an offshoot specifically for Eastern Europe, which is available since of 2004. The Intergeo EURASIA took place once in 2014 .

Comparable, but not so big, trade fairs are Kartographentag or INTERGEO EAST or INTERGEO EURASIA, which, however, lag far behind in terms of their international importance and size.
