Zero is a 2018 Indian romantic comedy directed by Aanand L. Rai . The main roles are occupied by Shah Rukh Khan , Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif .

Bauua Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) is a short man from Meerut who is looking for a wife. Through a marriage broker, he finds the scientist Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder (Anushka Sharma), who suffers from cerebral palsy . After a few months, the wedding is planned. However, on the day of the wedding, Bauua learns that he has been chosen for a dance competition, the winner of which will meet the famous actress Babita Kumari (Katrina Kaif). Bauua, determined to meet Babita, flees from the wedding and goes to the dance competition, which he also wins.
Babita offers Bauua a job as a consultant so that from now on he will accompany her in her activities. Still in love with Aafia, he is eventually thrown out by Babita to be able to return to his former fiancée. Bauua travels to New York City , where Aafia is working on the NSAID space program. Although she shows no interest in him, Bauua applies to be an astronaut for a mission to Mars. After lengthy training and testing, Bauua is actually selected for the mission. During the launch of the rocket, Bauua assures Aaifa that he will always love her. The mission is successful and after 15 years waiting for Aaifa to return, Bauua lands in the Indian Ocean.
