Zervi ( Greek Ζέρβη [ ˈzɛrvi ] ( f. Sg. ), South Slav. Servi Серви, Zervi Зерви or Žervi Жерви) is a small village with 303 inhabitants (2011). It is part of the Panagitsa community in the Vegoritida district of the Edessa municipality in the Greek region of Central Macedonia , around 20 kilometers west of the city of Edessa, at 665 meters above sea level. About seven kilometers to the south is Lake Vegoritida , and about seven kilometers to the north is the state border with the Republic of Macedonia . The next larger border crossing is about 30 kilometers east in the direction of the Macedonian city of Bitola , which is about 50 kilometers northeast of Zervi.
