Kępiny Wielkie , German Zeyersniederkampen , is a village with 120 inhabitants in the rural municipality of Elbląg in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is located about 17 kilometers north of Elbląg (Elblag) and 93 km northwest of the regional capital Olsztyn (Allenstein).

In the German Reich it belonged in Prussia to the province of West Prussia and from 1920 to 1945 to East Prussia .

Bartel Mehrmann was honored in 1931 for his 50 years of service as community leader.
