Zhao Ruirui ( Chinese 赵蕊蕊 , Pinyin Zhào Ruǐruǐ ; born October 8, 1981 in Nanjing , Jiangsu ) is a Chinese volleyball player .
Zhao Ruirui played in the Chinese national team as a middle blocker from 2001 to 2008 and won the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . She also won the 2003 World Grand Prix and the World Cup in Japan , where she was named “Best Attacker”. Zhao is also a multiple Asian champion and won the Asian Games in 2002 . She had to interrupt her career several times because of some serious leg injuries.
