Ziemomyśl A (German Schönwerder A ) is a village near Dolice ( Dölitz ) in the Stargardzki powiat in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Geographical location

Ziemomyśl A is located in Western Pomerania , about 9 kilometers east of Dolice, 24 kilometers southeast of Stargard in Pomerania and 56 kilometers southeast of the regional metropolis of Szczecin .

history

Schönwerder A was originally an estate district that consisted of a manor and the Büdnerdorf Schönwerder (formerly Schönenwerder ). The part of Schönwerder B was separated from the entire estate district by dividing the estate . In the entire manor district of Schönwerder (parts A and B) there was a Vorwerk, a windmill, a brick factory, 17 farmers, a forge, an inn, a schoolmaster and a total of 61 fireplaces (households) around 1784. Between the 16th and 18th centuries, Schönwerder was a fief of the Blankensee family . Around the middle of the 19th century, Schönwerder A had over 300 inhabitants.

Until 1945 Schönwerder A belonged to the Pyritz district in the Prussian province of Pomerania . After the end of the Second World War , the region was occupied by the Red Army in the spring of 1945 and then placed under Polish administration together with all of Western Pomerania.
