The Zierzsee is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District and belongs to the Neustrelitz Kleinseenland . It is about 7 kilometers west of Neustrelitz and is located in the Müritz National Park .
The size of the apple-shaped lake is about 630 meters in length and 540 meters in width. The bank is wooded and mooring is prohibited here. There is a prescribed route on the lake. Crossing by boat is only permitted here along the green buoy. Driving with motorized boats is prohibited on the lake. The inflow into the Zierzsee is on the southwest side and comes from the Görtowsee over the Havel . The drain is on the northeast side and flows directly into the Useriner See .
