The Zimmerberger Bach is a right tributary of the Wupper , which is called here in the upper reaches of the Wipper, near Marienheide - Holzwipper .

The brook rises at an altitude of 428 m east of the Hofschaft Zimmerberg and flows in a south-westerly direction piped past the Hofschaft. Another source south of Zimmerberg feeds a pond, combined with this source inlet, the stream crosses under the L306 state road, also piped up until then.

The stream turns in an arc to the south and flows into the Wipper at a height of 383 m near the nature reserve wet and grassland complex east of Holzwipper . A few meters beforehand, part of the stream is branched off to feed three ponds.

The catchment area of ​​the Zimmerberger Bach is drained into the North Sea via the Wupper and Rhine .
