history
In the bastide Saint-Sulpice (between Toulouse and Albi in the later diocese of Lavaur ), which has existed since around 1245, was built in 1257 by the lord of the place, Sicard Alaman (1210-1275), at the confluence of the Agout (river) and Tarn (river) ( pointe = Tip) the Cistercian convent Saint-Antoine donated and settled by the convent Nonenque . The nuns later moved to the city center (today's Rue du Couvent ) and were known as the Bernardines du monastère de Saint-Antoine de Saint-Sulpice de la Pointe .
