The Zoo Park Jagodina is a zoological garden in the town of Jagodina . It is the fourth zoo in Serbia and the third largest in the country after the Belgrade Zoo, the Palić Zoo and the Bor Zoo . On a total area of 2.5 hectares there are around 320 to 350 animals of 250 species, including fish , reptiles , monkeys , predators , odd-toed ungulates , artifacts , birds and seals .
The classic zoo animals from giraffe and lion to zebra are kept. The Jagodiner Zoo is organized geographically. It is divided into three subject areas: Africa , Asia and Australia . In terms of gastronomy, there is the Tigar restaurant with offers from Serbian cuisine , a café with a terrace and a kiosk .
The zoo, which opened in 2006, is part of the Sportski-turistički kompleks Đurđevo brdo , a sports and recreation area that is located in the extreme south of the city and primarily offers training and competition facilities for numerous sports as well as numerous tourist activities and attractions. These include the Gradski stadium Jagodina , a modern aqua park and the multifunctional sports hall Sportska dvorana JASSA , as well as a tennis complex and a go- kart track . There is also the Jagodina wax museum , a nature park and a hotel .
