Zoramia is a genus of cardinalfish (Apogonidae). The fish are found in the coral reefs of the tropical Indo-Pacific at depths of 1 to 17 meters. Like all cardinalfish, they feed on zooplankton and are mouthbrooders . The genus was formerly a sub-genus of Apogon .

Zoramia species are small, high-backed fish and grow to 4 to 6 centimeters long. The first dorsal fin is supported by six fin rays, of which the second and third can form drawn filaments. The second dorsal fin is supported by nine soft rays. The upper jaw is covered with two or three rows of small, slender teeth that extend to the symphysis of the premaxillary . In the lower jaw the teeth are in one or two rows, in the back only in one. There is a row of teeth on the palatine bone . The number of gill trap rays is 24 to 32. The fish are almost transparent with some bluish or yellow color markings. The stomach and intestines are black.
