To the small fish was a German crime series that ran in 1977 on the ZDF evening program .
The series takes place on the French Mediterranean coast, where a retired commissioner runs a bistro and also helps to solve criminal cases.

action

The detective inspector Henri Dullac from Marseille travels to the fishing village of Bichet for his uncle's funeral. The owner of a bistro and several vineyards died there under mysterious circumstances. Dullac is the main heir and is initially suspected of murder by the local gendarmes. After proving his innocence, Dullac retires and now wants to enjoy life as a bistro owner, where he is looked after by Paulette and Nicole. Although he vows never to deal with criminal cases again, he still helps the local gendarmerie with their work.

The setting for the shooting in the early summer of 1976 was the fishing village of Collioure on the Golfe du Lion between Port Bou on the Spanish-French border and Perpignan for twelve weeks . The "San Vicens" in Collioure, which still exists today, was selected as the "Little Fish" bistro. French television co-produced this series.
