The Zutrugenspitze , also Zutrugenkarspitze, is 2662  m above sea level. A. high mountain peaks of the Schober group in East Tyrol ( Austria ).

Surname

The Zutrugenspitze is called the Zutrugenkarspitze on the Alpine Club map . In contrast , the mountain summit, referred to as the Upper Gate in other map series, bears the name Zutrugenspitze on the Alpine Club map .

location

The Zutrugenspitze is located in the south of the Hochschober-Westkamm in the far west of the Schobergruppe in the municipality of St. Johann im Walde . It is located in the midst of large debris and is only connected to the Kreuzspitze from the main ridge to the north by a ridge of rubble sliding down. To the west are the Obere Tor ( 2756  m above sea level ) and the Leibniger Tor ( 2515  m above sea level ), to the east with the Zilinkopf ( 2616  m above sea level ) there are further southern branches of the Hochschober-West ridge. The Zutrugenspitze drops steeply to the south into the valley of the Leibnitzbach to the Leibnitz Alm. The closest village is Oberleibnig (municipality of St. Johann im Walde).
