Two rebel lice on the way to the Loreley is a German film game from 1974.

action

The Bavarian inland navigation boatman Sepp Brunnhöfer travels appropriately by Rhine ship along the river to his Rhenish friends of yore, Josef and Konrad, who once served on the ship under him. Sepp wants to ask the two buddies for help. He wants them to find his three sons who are obviously missing in this area. The two simple-minded Rhinelander are stupid and have two sons of the same name who are a bit more limited than they are. Jupp jr. and Konrad jr. are sent off by their fathers and henceforth they are incredibly stupid in their search. They are taken into their duck by a copulating couple and make friends with two other Rhenish, cheerful women. When they land at a police station, a certain Ms. Schmitz appears, whose daughters and nieces Else, Trude and Paula are missing. Since the wanted sons are now also called Schmitz, Konrad and Jupp assume that Brunnhöfer must be wrong, and that the sons are in fact daughters.

Due to their clumsy approach, the Brunnhöfer / Schmitz daughters also became confused, so that the three Schmitz mothers now get together to avert further trouble from their families, which threatens from the research by Jupp and Konrad. Under no circumstances should the husbands of the three Schmitz mothers learn about the past life of their wives. But the Schmitz daughters have long gone their own ways and have obviously inherited the desire for wild sex from their father. Meanwhile, Brunnhöfer's daughters Trude and Paula Schmitz allied themselves with Jupp and Konrad and brought them up with them until they were able to meet the arriving Brunnhöfer on the following day. You make fun of teasing your newly-met father and disguise yourself at the first meeting as a boy with a somewhat weak stature. But then there is a happy ending: Sepp reunites with his former girlfriend Else Schmitz, while two of the three daughters become the new friends of the Rhenish search foxes. The third daughter was none other than the girl who had done it with her lover Georg Wurster. So every pot finds its lid.

Production notes

Two Reblice on the Way to the Loreley was created in mid-1974 and premiered on October 4, 1974. The film, designed as an unrestrained slapstick, has two comparatively unknown actors as the main actors, who try to deliver a kind of Rhenish Tünnes-und-Schäl version of Laurel and Hardy with their performances .

criticism

The lexicon of international films saw the film as a "comedy in the style of the Volksbühne with absurd dialogues."
