Zwiedorf is a district of the municipality Wolde of the Treptower Tollensewinkel office in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
geography
The place is three kilometers northwest of Wolde and 13 kilometers west of Altentreptow , the seat of the Treptower Tollensewinkel office. The Zwiedorf district has an area of 553 hectares. The neighboring towns are Borgfeld in the north, Adamshof in the northeast, Marienhof in the east, Wolde in the southeast, Kastorf in the south, Goddin in the southwest, Grischow and Weitendorf in the west, and Ivenack , Zolkendorf and Tüzen in the northwest.
history
Since July 25, 1952, the place belonged to the Altentreptow district in the Neubrandenburg district of the GDR . On January 1, 1960, Zwiedorf became a part of the municipality of Wolde. In the years 1990 to 1994 it belonged to the following district Altentreptow, the place then came to the district of Mecklenburg Lake District.
