occupation

Zwinglis Erbe is a Swiss feature film about the life story of the Zurich reformer Huldrych Zwingli .

action

While Heinrich Bullinger and Leo Jud are waiting for news from Huldrych Zwingli about the bloody battle near Kappel am Albis , the young Bullinger learns from Jud how things could get this far: when Zwingli begins to preach as a priest in Zurich , she seizes him Plague . Facing certain death, God's Word carries it through and it survives. Encouraged and strengthened, Zwingli turns Zurich on its head with the Bible in hand.

With the desire to make the Bible understandable to people, Zwingli and his friends began translating the book into the vernacular. In doing so, however, the resistance - even from the closest circle of friends - is increasing.

background

Zwingli's legacy is the largest film project by Eutychus Production, a team of film freaks who operate a channel on YouTube under the same name . The trio consists of Alex Fröhlich ( master's degree in German and history from Zurich), Micha Kohli (youth pastor in Zurich) and Oskar Fröhlich (businessman and theology student at SBT Beatenberg ).

The film was financed entirely through crowdfunding and was produced on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Zurich Reformation.
