Between Crescent and Swastika (subtitle: The uncanny alliance of Islamists, Cold Warriors and ex-Nazis , broadcast by ARD on July 19, 2006) is a documentary by Stefan Meining that aims to show a historical connection between National Socialism and Islamic fundamentalism . From this connection, a small community of Muslims in Germany emerged in the post-war years, in which the Muslim Brotherhood gained a foothold, creating a basis for political Islam in Europe.
