The Pigne d'Arolla is 3790  m above sea level. M. high mountain in Switzerland, near Arolla and the border with Italy .

It was first climbed on July 9, 1865 by Adolphus Warburton Moore , Horace Walker and the mountain guide Jakob Anderegg .

The ascent on the normal route takes place from the north from the Cabane des Dix at the upper end of the Val d'Hérémence (walking time approx. 4 hours) or from the east from the Cabane des Vignettes at the upper end of the Val d'Arolla (walking time approx. 5 hours). Both cabanes ( mountain huts ) are run by the Swiss Alpine Club ( Monte Rosa section ).
