All Time Low

All Time Low is an American pop punk band from Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland.

History

Early

It first started with Alex Gaskarth (singer/guitarist) and Jack Barakat (guitarist)in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland. The two were heavily influenced by Green Day and Blink-182.[1] Soon they added bassist, Zack Merrick, and drummer, Rian Dawson. The band started in High School, having to do homework and other teenage commitments. During school breaks, the band would tour the east and south coast. On the set of their shows there would be silly string and beach balls. After the band did some touring they came out with their 4 song EP The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End which was labeled through Emerald Moon Records and released October 1st, 2004. A year later they released their studio album The Party Scene.

2006-Present

In 2006, just months before Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, and Rian Dawson graduated from Dulaney High School and Zack Merrick from Towson High School, All Time Low signed with Hopeless Records.[1] Several months later the band released a new EP entitled Put Up or Shut Up on Hopeless Records, containing newly recorded versions of songs from The Party Scene along with two new tracks. After extensive touring and promoting to support "Put Up or Shut Up," the band began recording "So Wrong, It's Right" on April 18 2007 with Matt Squire and released the album on September 25, 2007. Since the release, the band has gotten extensive amounts of success, such as being featured on MTV's Discover And Download, have been added to MTV's Big Ten, and been added to the MTV Hits playlist.[citation needed] The band is currently being managed by Matthew Flyzik, former frontman of the disbanded Maryland band Underscore.

All Time Low won the Energizer Encore Contest to play 10 minutes longer on the 2007 Warped Tour in Columbia, MD, Sacramento, CA, Barrie, ON, and Boston, MA.

They made their TRL debut on February 12, 2008.

All Time Low made their live television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 7, 2008.[2]

They made their live debut in the UK in late 2007 supporting The Plain White T's and went on to play at the 2008 Give It A Name Festival . They then embarked on a 2008 tour of the UK with Cobra Starship.

Between tours they are currently writing for their new album and have revealed in an interview that one of the songs will include ex-Blink-182, now +44 bassist Mark Hoppus.[1]

On October 9, 2008 they debuted a clip of a new song
