Pérez has won two doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 6 October 2014, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 941. On 13 October 2014, she peaked at world number 612 in the doubles rankings.
Pérez made her WTA tour debut at the 2013 Copa Colsanitas, partnering her sister María Paulina in doubles.[1] The twins lost their first round match against Alizé Cornet and Pauline Parmentier.[1]
Playing for Colombia at the Fed Cup, Pérez has a win–loss record of 1–0.[2]
