Warta Poznań, pron. IPA: [ˈvarta ˈpɔznaɲ], is a football (soccer) club based in Poznań, Poland. Founded in 1912, the club are two-time winners of the Polish Football Championship, in 1929 and 1947, but currently reside in the Polish Football Second league. The name means the Guard in Polish and also a name of river Warta on which Poznań is located
