Power Rangers: R.P.M. is the title for the upcoming series of the long-running Power Rangers series of American children's television. The subtitle R.P.M. comes from trademarks placed by BVS Entertainment, Inc., on July 11 and July 14, 2008, on the name "POWER RANGERS RPM." These trademarks include use for "toys, games and playthings;"[1] "printed matter; publications; books;"[2] "audio and visual recordings in all media,"[3] "clothing, footwear and headwear,"[4] "bags; tote bags;"[5] and "entertainment and education services."[6] Characters from the Japanese Super Sentai series Engine Sentai Go-onger were featured at the 2008 American International Toy Fair's Power Rangers booth. At the time of the Toy Fair, the name "POWER RANGERS RPM" had not yet been trademarked.
Australian actor Eka Darville, previously in series three of Blue Water High, is reported to have a role in the new Power Rangers series which begins production in September 2008 in New Zealand.[7][8] Heidi Kathy Bradhurt has been cast as Kayla, the Yellow Ranger.[9]
