FC Ebedei is a Nigerian football club based in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State after moving from Lagos in 2001. They currently play in Nigeria Amateur League 1, the third tier of Nigerian football.

FC Ebedei is also serving as the African football academy of FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga championship. Several players from the club have gone on to play in Denmark.

FC Midtjylland transfers

The first player who transferred to FC Midtjylland was Ajilore Oluwafemi. The midfielder debuted for FC Midtjylland in 2004, and earned a permanent place in the starting line-up in the 2006-07 Superliga season. He plays the role of a defensive midfielder, and is by many considered a very important player.

He was followed by the two strikers Adeshina Lawal and Justice John Erhenede, though they did not break into the FC Midtjylland starting line-up. In 2004, they both transferred to Vejle BK in the secondary Danish 1st Division.

In the spring 2006, forward Akeem Agbetu earned a place in the FC Midtjylland first team squad, after Danish forward Frank Kristensen suffered an injury. Agbetu scored a couple of goals, before he was loaned out to Kolding FC in the winter 2007 transfer window to earn some valuable experience. In Kolding He is a success.

In the summer 2006, The two players who was brought with him to the club, the 18-year old players Adigun Salami and Ayinde Lawal were brought into the FC Midtjylland squad. Salami proved a very big talent, and attracted attention from Italian club Reggina Calcio, as well as English clubs Chelsea and Manchester United. He plays the role of an attacking midfielder, and is buy many considered to be the next big sale for FC Midtjylland. Lawal although has not got his breakthrough at the first team, but he is one of the best players in the second team, and is also regurarely in the first team squad. He is also a midfielder.

The most recent player to make the step from FC Ebedei to FC Midtjylland is Babajide Collins Babatunde, or simply known a Baba Collins, who would have made his FC Midtjylland debut at age 16, if not for the FIFA rules. As he turned 18, he signed a four and a half year professional contract with FC Midtjylland. In The spring of 2007 he earned his debut, and quickly became a starter, he has scored 2 goals in 8 matches, and made a some god of assists. He is very physical strong- everybody is very impressed buy him, and the trainer, Erik Rasmussen, thinks he will become a big star.

Currently FCM is having a lot of young bright talents on the youth academy, many of the african talents is some of the best players on their team, and they were a good factor in FC Midtjyllands silver- and gold medals in the last season. The eldest talents also plays on the second team, which is currently playing in the Danish 2nd Division, and finished last season an impressive number two. One of the best talents, Akeem Agbetu, is currently on loan at Danish 1st Division side Kolding FC, to get some experience. This is a tactic that the club will use for talents who is "too good for the third best league, but not yet good enough for the best".

The next players who is ready to jump from the u-sqaud ad up in the first team would be: Yakubu Abubakar Akilu, a defensive midfielder and sometimes also plays in the defense. Jude Ikechukwu Nworuh, a very fast young striker, who has scored so many goals, that he must be secure for a spot in the first team squad. And at last Adeola Runsewe, also a young fast striker, he does not score as many goals as Jude, but then he also plays a lot on the wing. The two last player who was promoted was the attacking midfielder Sylvester Emeka Igboun and the attacker Izunna Uzochukwu.
