John Jay Saldi, IV (born October 8, 1954 in White Plains, New York) is a former professional American football tight end in the National Football League. Saldi played for nine seasons from 1976-1984 for the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. He played college football at the University of South Carolina.

He is the father of Texas Tech linebacker, John Saldi, who tried out for the Dallas Cowboys in 2006 and 2007 and was cut both years.[citation needed]
