Pombo v. McNerney, 2006
Here's the story of a $25K grant for a demo project: [51]
So, the U.C. Berkeley School of Journalism is building the demo project, but as of 10/4/2006, NOTHING appears to be up, with the election just a month away: [52]
- Actually, here's the (internal) blog on progress - so things are happening, but slowly: [53]
- (Checked on 10/26 - last posting was 10/15 - I'm guessing that they have essentially given up having a website up before the election. I suspect they've given up having anything done before the election. I've not seen anything actually stating that they would, be it always seemed a reasonable presumption.
What's particularly interesting is the volunteer/citizen aspect, plus the idea of building a "template" for use in 2008.

- (3) Consider a redirect (format is #REDIRECT followed by a space followed by article name in double brackets) - see Wikipedia:Redirect - if the content can be moved elsewhere or exists elsewhere
- (4) Consider Wikipedia:Proposed deletion which starts five-day countdown
- (5) As last resort, start the AfD process Deletion in 3 steps (Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion#How_to_list_pages_for_deletion)
