Andrei Daniel Vlad (Romanian pronunciation: [anˈdrej daniˈel ˈvlad]; born 15 April 1999) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays for Steaua București as a goalkeeper.
Club career
Early years / Universitatea Craiova
Vlad played youth football for CSȘ Târgoviște in his hometown before joining the academy of CS Universitatea Craiova in 2015.[1]
He made his debut as a professional on 7 May 2017, aged 18, featuring the full 90 minutes in 0–1 Liga I defeat to Viitorul Constanța.[1][2]
Steaua București
On 9 July 2017, Steaua București announced the signing of Vlad on a six-year contract with a €30 million buyout clause.[3][4] The Roș-albaștrii paid a rumoured €400,000, with his former team also being entitled to 10% of a future transfer fee.[5]
Vlad played his first match for Steaua on 9 September 2017, also against Viitorul Constanța.
