(1164) Kobolda is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on March 19, 1930 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth , active at the observatory on the Königstuhl near Heidelberg .
The asteroid was named after the German astronomer Hermann Kobold , a longtime editor of the Astronomische Nachrichten .
