(1367) Nongoma is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 3 July 1934 by the South African astronomer Cyril V. Jackson in Johannesburg was discovered.
The name of the asteroid is derived from Nongoma , then the capital of the South African Kwazulu Homeland .
