(1398) Donnera is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on August 26, 1936 by the Finnish astronomer Yrjö Väisälä in Turku .
The asteroid was named after the Finnish astronomer Anders Severine Donner , the director of the Helsinki Observatory at the time.
