(1437) Diomedes is an asteroid from the group of Trojans that was discovered by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth on August 3, 1937 . It is used to describe asteroids that move around the sun on the Lagrange points on Jupiter's orbit .
The asteroid was named after Diomedes , a legendary figure of the Trojan War .
