(14526) Xenocrates is in the main belt situated asteroid that on May 6, 1997 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( observatory code in 809) Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was after on 26 July 2000 Greek philosophers of antiquity Xenokrates named (396-314 v. Chr.), Who as a student of Plato of the Platonic Academy belonged and directed it from 339/338.
