(1549) Mikko is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 2 April 1937 by the Finnish astronomer Yrjö Väisälä at Turku was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the Finnish pastor and amateur astronomer Mikko Arthur Levander , the discoverer's father-in-law.
