(23469) Neilpeart is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 22 September 1990 by the American astronomer Brian P. Roman at Palomar Observatory ( IAU code 675) in California was discovered.

The asteroid is named after the Canadian lyricist and drummer Neil Peart (1952-2020), who played for the rock band Rush from 1974 and has received numerous awards for his lyrics.
