(2517) Orma is an asteroid of the main belt , which the Swiss astronomers on September 28, 1968 Paul Wild , from zimmerwald observatory of the University of Bern was made, discovered.
The name of the planet is derived from a letter variation of the asteroid (1257) Móra . In addition, "Orma" is the Italian name for the term "track".
